Audio Not Playing

If audio isn't playing, follow these troubleshooting steps in order. Most issues can be resolved quickly!

Check Device Volume

Ensure your device volume is turned up and not muted:

  • iOS: Use volume buttons on the side of your device
  • Android: Use volume buttons or check settings
  • Make sure silent mode/Ring/Silent switch is OFF

Close and Reopen the App

Sometimes the audio player needs to restart. Fully close the app (swipe away from recent apps) and reopen it, then try playing audio again.

Check Audio File Download

Audio files download automatically when you first access a stop. If you're on slow internet, wait a few moments for the download to complete, then try again.

Advanced Troubleshooting

Restart Your Device

Sometimes device-level issues can affect audio playback. Try restarting your phone or tablet, then launch the app again.

Check App Permissions

Ensure the app has necessary permissions:

  • iOS: Settings → AudioVenture → Check microphone/media permissions (if applicable)
  • Android: Settings → Apps → AudioVenture → Permissions

Check Device Storage

Audio files require storage space. If your device is low on storage, audio may not download or play. Free up some space and try again.

Update the App

Ensure you're running the latest version of AudioVenture. Check the App Store or Play Store for updates.
