Creating Your First Tour
Welcome to AudioVenture! Creating your first tour is easy and takes just a few moments. You don't need to create an account - you can start exploring immediately.
Starting Your First Tour
Launch the App
Open AudioVenture from your home screen. The app will load the Marienplatz tour automatically.
View the Map
You'll see an interactive map of Munich's Marienplatz area with 15 numbered markers. The first 3 markers are green (free), and the rest are locked until you purchase the full tour.
Choose Your First Stop
Tap on any green marker (marker 1-3) to view details about that location. You can read about the history, see photos, and listen to the audio guide.
Listen to the AudioVenture
Tap the "Play Audio" button to start the narration. The audio will play even if you navigate away from the detail screen. You can pause, rewind, or adjust playback speed.
Mark as Completed
After visiting a stop, tap the "Mark as Completed" button. This helps you track your progress through the 15 stops of the tour.
Navigate to Next Stop
Use the map to find your next destination. The app shows walking distance and estimated time to reach each stop. If location services are enabled, your current position is shown on the map.
Tips for Your First Tour
Enable Location Services
For the best experience, allow location access when prompted. This enables GPS navigation and shows your position on the map.
Try the Free Stops First
Experience the first 3 stops (Marienplatz, Neues Rathaus, Altes Rathaus) completely free before deciding to purchase the full tour.
Take Your Time
The full tour takes about 2 hours. Feel free to take breaks, visit shops, or enjoy a meal between stops. Your progress is saved automatically.
Works Offline
After the initial download, everything works offline. Perfect if you're traveling and want to avoid data charges.
