Using the Map and Navigation
Understanding the Map
The interactive map shows all 15 stops of the Marienplatz tour. Each marker represents a historical location with audio content.
●Green Markers (Free Stops)
The first 3 stops (1-3) are marked in green. These are completely free to access - no purchase required.
●Locked Markers (Premium Stops)
Stops 4-15 are locked until you purchase the full tour. You can still view their locations on the map and see what you'll unlock.
📍Your Current Location
If location services are enabled, a blue dot shows your current position on the map. This helps you navigate to each stop.
Navigation Features
Tap a Marker
Tap any marker to see details about that location, including distance from your current position (if location is enabled).
View Walking Distance
Each stop shows the estimated walking distance and time from your current location. This helps you plan your route.
Zoom and Pan
Pinch to zoom in or out, and drag to pan around the map. Double-tap to zoom in quickly.
Center on Your Location
Tap the location button (usually in the bottom-right) to center the map on your current position.
Location Services
Why enable location? Location services enhance your experience by showing your position on the map and calculating walking distances. However, the app works perfectly fine without location - you can still navigate using street names and landmarks.
Location data is processed locally on your device and never shared. You can disable location services at any time in your device settings.
