Getting Started

QuestionDo I need to create an account to use the app?

No! AudioVenture works completely without login. You can start exploring the free stops immediately after downloading the app. Account creation is optional and only needed if you want to sync your progress across devices.

QuestionHow much does the app cost?

The app is free to download, and the first 3 stops are completely free. You can experience Marienplatz, Neues Rathaus, and Altes Rathaus at no cost. To unlock all 15 stops, there's a one-time in-app purchase.

QuestionWhat devices are supported?

AudioVenture is available for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices. The app requires iOS 13.0+ or Android 8.0+ to run.

QuestionDoes the app work offline?

Yes! The app is designed to work completely offline. After the initial download, you can use all features, including maps, audio guides, and navigation, without an internet connection.

Using the Tour

QuestionHow long does the full tour take?

The complete Marienplatz walking tour covers 15 stops and takes approximately 2 hours at a leisurely pace. You can complete it in one go or spread it over multiple visits.

QuestionHow does GPS navigation work?

The app uses your device's GPS to show your current location on the map and calculate walking distance to each stop. Make sure to enable location services when prompted for the best experience.

QuestionCan I skip stops or do them out of order?

Absolutely! While we recommend following the suggested route, you're free to visit stops in any order. Tap any marker on the map to learn about that location.

QuestionWhat if I get lost during the tour?

The app includes detailed maps with your current location and directions to each stop. If you need help, you can always return to any previously visited stop or restart from the beginning.

Purchases & Payment

QuestionHow much does the full tour cost?

Pricing varies by region and currency. The full tour is a one-time purchase (not a subscription). Check the in-app purchase section for current pricing in your area.

QuestionCan I get a refund?

Refund policies are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective policies. Generally, refunds are available within a limited time after purchase.

QuestionDo I need to purchase for each device?

If you use the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android), your purchase is linked to your account and can be restored on other devices without additional payment.

QuestionWill there be more cities available?

Yes! We're working on adding more cities. When new tours are released, they may be available as separate apps or as additional purchases within the app, depending on our expansion strategy.

Technical

QuestionThe audio isn't playing. What should I do?

First, check that your device volume is up and not on silent mode. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, ensure you've downloaded the audio content (usually happens automatically). If problems continue, contact support with your device model and app version.

QuestionThe map isn't loading correctly.

Maps require location services and an initial internet connection to download map tiles. Once downloaded, maps work offline. Try enabling location services in your device settings and ensure you have internet for the first load.

QuestionThe app crashes or freezes.

Try closing and reopening the app. If crashes persist, ensure you're running the latest version of the app. You can update through the App Store or Play Store. If the problem continues, contact support with details about when the crash occurs.

We collect minimal data necessary for app functionality. This includes device information for technical support, usage analytics to improve the app, and location data (only when using GPS features, processed locally). We don't require personal information to use the free features.

No. Location data is used only locally on your device for navigation. We don't collect, store, or share your precise location data. Location processing happens entirely on your device.

Yes! After the initial download, the app works completely offline. Maps, audio files, and all tour content are stored locally on your device.

QuestionHow can I delete my data?
